December 2021 – Mason Square After School Program hosted its first holiday gift drive. The after-school program assists with homework and specific areas of need for its students. All students were asked to provide a list of three items they wanted for Christmas. Most received their 1st choice or an item that was comparable to their 1st choice thanks to sponsorships from STAG employees.

ROOM TO GROW FILL-A-TRUCK OUTREACH – NOV 2021

November 2021 – STAG Industrial partnered with Room to Grow to sponsor a city-wide collection drive in New York. One and a half trucks worth of pre-sorted, quality checked baby and toddler items were brought into Chelsea, Astoria and Greenpoint for local families. This drive was extra special because the twelve dedicated volunteers were able to set aside winter clothing for immediate distribution for the toddlers in the Room to Grow program.

THE HOME FOR LITTLE WANDERERS’ THANKSGIVING TURKEY DRIVE – NOV 2021

The kits were then delivered to families in need throughout the Greater Boston area. Meal kits included a frozen turkey, produce, dry goods, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, apples, apple cider and pies.

STAG’S 2ND ANNUAL IMPACT MONTH – FALL 2021

Fall 2021 – STAG held its 2nd annual Impact Month, a semivirtual alternative to its traditional “Impact Day” which was introduced due to the Pandemic. Employees were challenged to complete acts of volunteerism and kindness to score points for their team. Some of these acts included checking in on the elderly, dropping off clothes to a local Goodwill, and donating to charity. The prize for the top three teams was a donation to a charity of their choice. On behalf of STAG Industrial, Inc., these teams donated to Heading Home – Holiday Gift Drive, The Greater Boston Food Bank, Citizens for Juvenile Justice, and Rosie’s Place.

CITYSPROUTS GARDEN TRANSFER – JUNE 2021

June 2021 – STAG employees had the great pleasure of participating in City Sprouts’ first in-person volunteer event in almost a year and a half. CitySprouts needed help transferring their garden from Tobin Elementary in Cambridge, which is undergoing major renovations, to a nearby school. To preserve the garden, STAG volunteers worked with CitySprouts to break down garden beds and transport the materials to the new location. The relocation will allow hundreds of students in Boston and Cambridge to learn science through getting their hands in the dirt and connecting with nature.
