ROOM TO GROW VIRTUAL PICNIC – FALL 2020
Fall 2020 – STAG joined Room to Grow’s Virtual Picnic catered by Kate’s Table to help fundraise and spread its message of supporting families during their children’s critical early years. Room to Grow adapted its model to meet the challenges of COVID-19 and continues to safely serve the community. We are proud partners and are fully behind their work to empower families and their babies. Our contributions will help provide many resources to these families such as direct goods and clinician support.
LUCY’S LOVE BUS: YOGA OHANA & BUTTERFLY BUDDIES – FALL 2020
Yoga Ohana – STAG participated in the Yoga Ohana event, a daylong virtual yoga event for people of all ages and abilities. Participants practice with local and international instructors, relieve stress, and connect with other like-minded people. Donations raised support online yoga, art, music, and meditation programs, plus emergency funds for groceries, medicine, and gas for Love Bus families.
Butterfly Buddy Letters – STAG participated in sending notes of encouragement and love to children with cancer. We shared funny stories, jokes and sent riddles and puzzles. The children are very excited to receive letters and care packages which helps to cheer them up.
SHARE A SPROUT CHALLENGE – SUMMER 2020
Summer 2020 – STAG consulted on a marketing campaign for CitySprouts called #ShareASprout. The goal of this grass roots campaign was to encourage gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts to take a picture of themselves in nature, use the hashtag #ShareASprout, and tag @CitySproutsMA and 3 friends to pass it on. The campaign was an early success and garnered thousands of social media impressions. CitySprouts will continue to use the #ShareASprout campaign to raise awareness about their organization in 2021.
BBBS GOES VIRTUAL – JUNE 2020
June 2020 – STAG held a “BBBS goes Virtual” Event to learn about opportunities to continue to give back and make an impact amidst the pandemic. Our partners at Big Brothers Big Sisters shared with us how STAG’s donations were being put to good use and provided an overview on how the virtual mentorship program operates and how to get involved.
